HHOK, can I talk frankly for one second. Not like that doesn't happen on a frequent basis, but at this time I feel a great need to comment on some absurdity in the universe. I literally mean "universe" and you'll understand why in a moment.

Clearblue Easy is a well known brand, and for many of us not a tool we need just yet. They have sold their product with the guarantee of reliability for years with some semblence of discretion and decency; But a stream of pee shooting through outer space (OUTER SPACE), dubbed by the "voice guy" (who does every movie ad in THE WORLD), is a little much! Though I am somehow intrigued by this ad. It's short, it's simple, it captures your attention, and it gets to the point. Peeing on a stick!! How much more straight forward can they get. I am still shocked by the stream of pee every time I happen to pass it while channel surfing. Wow. i mean, come on people! Is this really how far we've come? I enjoy my television programming just as much as the next person, but i think this is really beyond taste. What do you think? Thank goodness it seems to be restricted to Oxygen and We. Let's hope it stays there.
**please note a heaping hint of sarcasm when you read this. do i need to add some 'hehes' or smiley faces? that is all.

Joel, Jova, and I were watching tv last year and this commercial came on. We all looked at each other with facial expressions of horror.
The Clearblue Easy commercial has made it to at least some of the mainstream channels. I've seen it and I'm too cheap for cable.
Perhaps it's my trekky background, but I found the commercial to be very well done....and when surprised by the pee, I laughed out loud.
I mean, really. Why pretend that a pretty bird popped in your window to tell you the news? Reality is reality and I'm all about making fun of it.

UM....that's the best thing ever. my favorite part is:
"the most sophisticated piece of technology..." (PREGNANT PAUSE) "...you will EVER pee on." Man, i really want to use it now.
I mean, why all the pretense about things anyway? It is what it is, a stick you pee on to see if you're knocked up or not. It's not glamorous, it's not classy, it's just a stick you pee on. It's kind of like "Snakes on a Plane" it is what it is. I think advertising like this removes unrealistic expectations. For example, I still feel like crap "that time of the month" and all those women in the feminine hygiene commercials all look like they're ready to run marathons. Maybe we need tampax commercials that say "tampax, just shove it up there" instead. Is that classy?
i saw this the other day and i was kind of half paying attention, and i was like wait - IS THAT PEE IN OUTER SPACE?
and sadly, i think you're wrong when you say it seems to only be on oxygen and we...i'm pretty sure i saw it on like, abc or something.
i'd like to ask that voice guy what the weirdest thing he's ever had to say is. i think this would be up there.
